These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ThisProfileIs (the "Service"), operated by ThisProfileIs ("we", "us", "the Company"). By creating an account — whether by email/password or by signing in with Google or LinkedIn — you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not register for or use the Service.
ThisProfileIs lets you upload a CV/resume, which we parse (using automated and/or AI-assisted tools) into a structured profile, and lets you publish that profile as a personal website using one of the templates we provide.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction.
By registering for and using the Service, you acknowledge and agree that any information you submit — including but not limited to your name, contact details, photo, work history, education, skills, and the content of any uploaded CV/resume file (collectively, "Your Data") — may be collected, stored, and used by the Company for purposes including, without limitation:
By submitting Your Data, you grant the Company a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully paid-up, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, compile, store, disclose, distribute, and otherwise commercially exploit Your Data for any of the purposes described above and for any other lawful business purpose of the Company. This license survives termination or deletion of your account with respect to any copy of Your Data already shared with a third party, incorporated into the Company's aggregate talent-pool records, or otherwise reasonably retained for legal, compliance, or record-keeping purposes. You agree that this license is granted without any expectation of further compensation, and you waive any right to object to a specific use of Your Data that falls within the purposes described in this Section, except as required by mandatory applicable law (including data-subject rights under Indonesia's UU PDP, where applicable).
Any profile you choose to deploy as a public website is, by its nature, publicly accessible at the URL you select — do not include information there that you do not want to be publicly visible.
We take reasonable measures intended to protect the data you provide. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using the Service and submitting Your Data, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: the Company, its owners, officers, and operators shall not be liable for any unauthorized access to, alteration of, disclosure of, loss of, or destruction of Your Data, including as a result of a data breach, security incident, or third-party attack, and you expressly release and waive any claim, complaint, demand, or cause of action against the Company arising from or related to such an event.
Without limiting the foregoing, in no event shall the Company's total aggregate liability to you arising out of or relating to the Service, these Terms, or any data incident exceed the total amount, if any, that you have actually paid to the Company for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. If you have used the Service without charge, the Company's aggregate liability to you shall be zero (0), to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. This limitation does not apply where — and only to the extent that — mandatory applicable law prohibits such a limitation (for example, in cases of proven willful misconduct or gross negligence by the Company, where such exclusion is not permitted by law).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company, its owners, and operators from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) Your Data or its accuracy; (b) your breach of these Terms; or (c) your misuse of the Service.
If you have a complaint or dispute relating to the Service, Your Data, or a security incident, you agree to first submit a written notice describing the dispute to the Company and to negotiate in good faith for at least thirty (30) days before initiating any court proceeding, arbitration, or public complaint — except where such a waiting period is not permitted by mandatory applicable law, or where the matter must be reported to a regulator as a matter of legal obligation. This clause is intended to encourage direct resolution and does not remove any right that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection or data-protection law.
If you register or log in using Google or LinkedIn, you authorize us to receive certain profile information from that provider (such as your name, email address, and profile photo) in accordance with that provider's own terms and privacy policy, and to use that information to create and manage your account as described in Section 3.
You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or that misrepresents your identity or qualifications. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You may request account deletion or a copy/removal of your data by contacting the Company through the contact details on this site. We will process such requests within a reasonable time, subject to any legal retention obligations and the surviving license described in Section 3.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Company operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer or data-protection law provides otherwise.
